🕵️ MantleCore has submitted the draft MIP-34 proposal to authorize Mantle Treasury to lend up to 30,000 ETH to Aave DAO to address bad debt tied to the April 18, 2026 rsETH bridge exploit on Aave V3.
The draft sets a term of up to 36 months, with interest at LIDO+1% APR or other terms to be finalized by the execution team, and allows early repayment without penalty.
It also proposes additional collateral from Aave, including 5% of protocol revenue and Aave tokens with a fair market value of at least $11 million, while Mantle would receive delegated voting power of 130,000 Aave tokens.
The proposal is currently under discussion and has not yet entered a formal vote. #hack link
