China's December exports increased 6.6% year-on-year, outperforming expectations of a 3% rise and up from 5.9% in the previous month. Imports rose 5.7%, surpassing forecasts of 0.9% and up from 1.9%. The trade surplus reached a record high, exceeding $1.2 trillion. More details can be found here.
