Announcement:
We are aware of the monitoring tag situation and have reached out to Binance to communicate since the day of. Since then, we have pinpointed and assessed the scope of the issue to 1) no significant tech and product-level developments being communicated in past 2 months and 2) subpar community communication on planning, developmental, and governance related issues.
In the last 2 months since launching AlphaNet, the team has been focused on optimizing the platform and early user experience prior to a broader public launch. We’ve seen over 98% user retention and consistent weekly growth – however, we have not communicated the updates and system upgrades as we have been focusing on communicating the alpha-generation aspects and metrics of the platform. From hereon, we will be updating the community on a frequent basis on progress and developmental aspects of the platform, and optimize for optimal transparency.
On the second point, we recognize the subpar community communications on planning developmental, and governance issues and will look to increasing frequency, depth, and transparency of these communications.
As we learned, a regular overall project review was triggered via Proposal 1 token economics changes, and the issues were assessed in the process. No problem was with Proposal 1 itself, as Phoenix has communicated and outlined with detail the specifics, including voting results with Binance team in advance. We are working to rectify these points ASAP.
AlphaNet is receiving acclaim from early users and partners in the trading ecosystem for being differentiated in its value-delivery approach to trading – it has also garnered substantial institutional attention, namely in terms of potential equity investors, in which we aim to close an equity funding round within the next month.
