Israel has initiated preparations for the first phase of a plan to address issues in the Gaza Strip, proposed by former President Trump. On October 3, Hamas stated it is prepared to release all prisoners in accordance with the plan and has agreed to transfer control of the Gaza Strip to an independent authority comprised of Palestinian technocrats.
