Hey everyone - some update from our side. It’s been ~1.5 months since the last update message , and a lot has been happening behind the scenes. 1/ Strategy RWA remains the core focus. Volumes on RWAs are growing strongly across the space => this is where we need to capture market share. But this does not mean abandoning crypto. A/ Reclaiming crypto majors We’ve seen our fees becoming less competitive. We’re reducing trading fees on majors: 5 bps → 3.5 bps Combined with our execution model, this puts gTrade back among the best execution venues (verifiable on Liquid View / VOOI arena) Goal: - Win back whales and medium traders - Restore competitiveness where it matters B/ Leverage = our edge Most platforms still limit leverage on RWAs. We’re not. → gTrade is positioning itself as the high-leverage venue across ALL assets (crypto + RWA) We still maintain solid conditions for low-leverage traders. This is a key differentiator and we’ll lean more into it. Most brokers offer high leverage for retails on RWAs; and this is still lacking into most top perp dexes today. C/ Expanding the offering - New RWA degen-style pairs coming - More DEGEN crypto pairs experiments - Introducing a new layer: gamification We’re working on something that could become a core part of gTrade identity: A sustainable trading lottery system More below. 2/ Product & Features Updates Infra & execution - Pyth integration → almost complete, first pairs rolling out soon - Force intraday close (RWA) → in testing phase (as a reminder, this will enable listing degen on Gold, Silver, S&P and so on. Would also enable us to tap into more stocks) - Futures integration (replacing some CFDs) → in progress Frontend & UX - pnl & volume profile improvements - more highlights of market transitions (open, close, low liq) - AI-powered support chat → improving responsiveness & onboarding of traders - New GNS token page → highlighting utility & perks (coming as soon as this week) - Future integration of the trading lottery 3/ Trading Lottery (new) We’ve been thinking a lot about trader psychology. Simple reality: traders respond extremely well to lottery-style rewards So we will be introducing a system built around: - A jackpot that grows over time (a % of trading fees accrues to a global jackpot pool) - Entry tied to real trading activity - Low probability, high payout This is still in design phase, more details coming soon. This will become the core identity of trading in gTrade. 4/ MegaETH We’re preparing a broader rollout on MegaETH later this month. This will introduce a more interactive trading experience tied to deployment. We’ll share full details toward the end of April, but this connects directly to: - Improvements on RWA trading - Potential adjustments to the gUSDM vault - Strengthening liquidity & execution on the chain 5/ Team & Execution Navigating the reduction of almost half of the team wasn’t trivial. But in practice, it made us more focused and more effective. - Every contributor is now covering multiple areas - Less fragmentation, faster decisions - Higher accountability across the board - - - - - We’re operating in a very competitive environment. Our approach remains the same: - Focus on real product improvements - Capture organic trading volume - Build trading incentives with engagement mechanics that are sustainable long-term That’s how we will win.
