U.S. negotiators will not travel to Oman for talks with Iran but will maintain remote contact with Omani and Qatari representatives, CBS News reports. Previously, former President Trump directed his negotiating team, led by Vance, Kushner, Witkoff, and Rubio, to continue discussions with Tehran. Iran and Oman are discussing the possibility of opening a route through the central Strait of Hormuz, according to Axios. Lebanon is set to join talks with Israel in Rome on July 15-16, TASS reports.
