Russia's microfinance organizations have petitioned the Central Bank to postpone by 18 months the implementation of a ban on the use of their income assessment models. Starting January 1, MFOs will be barred from applying these models to determine borrowers' average monthly income for loans below 50,000 rubles, potentially impacting over 15 million clients in the sector.
