Russia's stock market trading volume over the weekend of August 16-17 totaled ₽36.618 billion, Moscow Exchange's press service reported, according to RBC Investments. Saturday's turnover was ₽31.234 billion, with Sunday amounting to ₽5.384 billion. Approximately 700,000 transactions took place, with brokers noting investor activity was near record levels.
