SHANGHAI—The international operations center for China's digital yuan has launched in Shanghai. "The launch of the center is a significant step in the development of the digital yuan, which will contribute to strengthening China's influence in the global financial system," Xinhua reported. China has previously indicated plans to accelerate the internationalization of the yuan amid increasing global trade tensions.
