U.S. State Department spokesperson Tammy Bruce said the 50-day period President Donald Trump gave Russia to resolve the Ukrainian conflict is not strictly fixed. "When the president refers to a timeframe, it could be flexible. We've seen this before... Real negotiations and progress can lead to rapid changes," Bruce said.
