The U.S. has lifted sanctions on Belarusian potash producer Belaruskalij, according to Trump’s special representative John Kohl, following two days of discussions with U.S. envoy John Kohl. In exchange, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko released 123 prisoners. Belaruskalij accounts for approximately 20% of global potash fertilizer production, per the International Fertilizer Association. max
