VEON Ltd announced that Kyivstar, in partnership with Ukraine’s Ministry of Digital Transformation, has selected Google Gemma to serve as the foundation for Ukraine’s national large language model. The company said Google’s Vertex AI infrastructure will supply the necessary computing resources for the project.
